RevK pleating features rearward-facing knife pleats that meet at the center rear, offering a traditional kilted appearance. Made from up to 8 yards of fabric, Flamingo's RevK kilts are designed for the casual kilted lifestyle but, in the right fabric, can be accessorized for dressier occasions.

  •  If you choose pockets with either a functioning or dummy snap closure, available snap finishes include:
  • Matte black (top)
  • Matte bronze (middle)
  • Matte nickel (bottom)
  • Shiny black (not shown)
  • Shiny brass (not shown)

  • Secure hook-and-loop fabric closure on 2.25-inch waistband
 
  • An extra-wide underapron to assure your modesty
 
  • Pleats topstitched, inside and out, to preserve shape and ease ironing
 
  • Kilt hem adjusted at several points, ensuring that underapron and hidden pleats do not show at the hemline
 
  • Belt loop choices: 6 or 8 belt loops (single or double loops at front apron edges) to accommodate 2.5-inch or 3-inch belt
 
  • Choice of classic, no-pocket kilt or (at extra cost) our signature gusseted cargo pockets with inner storage compartments
 
  • One side pocket features a phone-and-pen compartment while the other provides a keyfob-sized compartment to keep your "cargo" from falling to the bottom
 
  •  Choice of pocket closure: working snap (matte bronze snap shown; other finishes available) or . . .
 
  • Hook-and-loop fabric closure with a "dummy" snap on flap (all hidden stitching -- outside of flap looks identical to a working snap version) or . . .
 
 
  • Hand-cast pewter button on flap -- functional button or backed with hook-and-loop fabric closure. Celtic knot pattern as shown, other styles available as special order.
 
  •  Pockets sewn to kilt along flap fold line (body of pocket hangs loose)

FlamingoKilts are machine-sewn to your custom measurements with top-stitched hem and Reverse Kingussie pleats -- what we call "RevK." Pleats are tapered and sewn down from waist to fell (hips).
